Job summary

Netcompany Group A/S, a European technology leader, seeks a Lead IT Business Analyst to drive large-scale transformation projects for EU and Public Sector units. You will mentor analysts, gather requirements with stakeholders, and prioritize backlogs to align business needs with system capabilities.

You will create BRDs, use cases, and tests, coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders across multiple projects, with emphasis on citizen-centric, transparent solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Master's degree and certifications (CBAP/CSPO) are advantageous.
• Experience translating complex business requirements into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to business analysts, guiding their professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including government officials, to gather and analyze business requirements, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
• Perform gap analysis, provide solutions, and lead backlog prioritization, ensuring alignment between user requirements and system capabilities.
• Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Act as a liaison between customer stakeholders and technical teams, communicating issues and coordinating software customizations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform Unit & Integration Tests on software customizations and custom development.

Joining us as aLead IT Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to be a part of our highly skilled engineering teams working within large-scale transformation projects/products forthe growing EU and Public Sector business units of Netcompany.

As a Lead IT Business Analystyou will:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to business analysts, guiding their professional development

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree and certifications (e.g., CBAP, CSPO) are highly desirable
• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in large-scale software implementation projects within EU or public sector
• Proven ability to gather, document, and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SQL experience (Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with Agile methodologies, BPMN, and Business Rules Management
