Cleveland-Cliffs is seeking a Lead IT Applications Engineer to be a key technical resource for HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Badging/Access Control, and Safety applications.

You will develop, support, and optimize Java/Java EE, Visual Basic, VB.NET, and .NET applications, interfaces, and reports on Oracle and SQL Server databases, while coordinating with vendors and business users to deliver reliable solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–10 years developing and supporting business applications on .NET and/or Java/Java EE.
• Strong Oracle and MS SQL Server skills including PL/SQL/T-SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, enhance, and support HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Safety applications.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and database code (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Support batch/data-pipeline processes and scheduled jobs.
• Provide production support for high‑priority systems; investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors for patches, upgrades, and escalations; plan upgrades and testing.
