Job summary

Sentar seeks a Subject Matter Expert III - Information Systems Security Engineer in Arlington, VA or Mechanicsburg, PA. Lead the ISSE team, designing and sustaining security automation architectures in AWS, converting DoW regulatory requirements into automated, operable code.

Requires 12+ years in systems engineering/cybersecurity, 7+ years in security automation, cloud engineering, and architecture; 5+ years as lead technical authority on enterprise projects, with Secret clearance and relevant

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
12+ years of systems engineering and cybersecurity experience; 7+ years in security automation, cloud engineering, and architecture.
5+ years as lead technical authority on enterprise-level projects; translating complex regulatory requirements into automated code.

Responsibilities

Lead ISSE work; design, build, and sustain DSCA's security automation architecture in AWS infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
Translate RMF/NIST/DISA STIGs into functional, automated, operational code.
Serve as the technical authority for security solutions across enterprise initiatives.
