Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Construction Foreman to direct a crew in raising, placing and uniting structural steel members. You will read steel drawings to determine location and orientation, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely, safe completion of assignments on site.

The role requires supervising hoisting operations, rigging knowledge, and the ability to align and bolt or weld components as required. Prior experience in structural steel construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct a crew's work and timelines on completion of tasks assigned.
• Set up hoisting equipment, raising and placing structural steel members with basic rigging knowledge.
• Fasten steel members to hoist cables using chain, cable or rope.
• Signal hoisting equipment operators to lift and place steel members.
• Align holes and bolts to keep members in position until permanent bolting or welding.
