Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an experienced Iron & Mineral Processing Laboratory Manager in Desert Center, CA, to lead and coordinate complex lab operations supporting iron recovery and metallurgical processes.

The role requires strong technical leadership, safety, and cross-functional collaboration. You will oversee QA/QC, method validation, sample control, and reporting, ensuring timely, accurate results while maintaining a safe industrial laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related scientific/engineering field.
• 5+ years of lab/metallurgy/mineral-processing experience.
• Supervisory experience in laboratory operations.
• Strong QA/QC, data integrity, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily laboratory operations for iron, metallurgical, and mineral-processing functions.
• Coordinate priorities, staffing, workflow, and testing schedules.
• Supervise technicians and coordinate with engineers and operations.
• Develop SOPs, QA/QC programs, and reporting practices.
• Oversee sample handling, preparation, and storage.
