ARS Treatment Centers in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Lead IOP Counselor to support the Clinical Supervisor and Executive Director in delivering high-quality IOP services for patients and families.

This senior role requires mentorship of counselors, adherence to policy, and active involvement in program development and compliance with licensure standards, HIPAA, and CARF/42 CFR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling or human services.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, 1 of which was in a substance abuse environment.
• Must be licensed or certified by the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all ARS policies and procedures and responds to supervision.
• Maintains IOP patients on caseload and may have MAT patients.
• Audits new IOP admission charts for Day and evening programs to ensure complete assessments and proper documentation.
• Oversees other IOP Counselors and Interns to ensure timely completion of work and adherence to policies.
• Provides new hire orientation and coordinates weekly clinical supervision for the IOP program.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling or human services
