Job summary

Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development is seeking an Investigator 3 in Anchorage to conduct independent investigations into professional licensing violations. You will interview witnesses, prepare cases for hearings, and coordinate with the Alaska State Medical Board.

Qualifications

• Competencies in accountability, analytical thinking, integrity, and investigation.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and procedures related to investigations.
• Valid Alaska driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct investigations of alleged violations of Title 08 statutes and 12 AAC regulations.
• Conduct interviews, invoke disciplinary actions, and prepare/participate in cases for administrative hearing.
• Collaborate with the Alaska State Medical Board, review cases with board members, and attend meetings.
