The position focuses on validating shipments, forecasting, and managing stock to minimize costs and improve service levels.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in inventory management or related field.
High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to lead and train Associates and Senior Coordinators; follow SOPs and improve processes.

Responsibilities

Provide on-the-job guidance to Associates and Senior Coordinators and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Teach and mentor team members on tasks as needed.
Verify inbound shipments against packing slips and quantities.
Enter and validate product data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and release products for use.
Develop forecasts based on demand, orders, and shipment speeds; place electronic orders.
Communicate with suppliers for order details and issue resolution.
Monitor inventory levels and analyze slow and fast-moving items and expirations.
Conduct regular cycle counts with counts lists and validation of data.
