The Inventory Control Lead will ensure that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible in accordance with the organizations inventory cycle. They will also conduct all inventory audits and remain compliant. Key Responsibilities include
- Executes daily inventory analysis and reporting; identifies and resolves discrepancies, count variances and problems.
- Verify pallet tag quantities, part and storage unit numbers, ensuring discrepancies are identified
- Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
- Communicates with all departments as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
- Ensures milestones and goals are met.
- Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
- Operates forklift as needed.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned.
- Attend and provide feedback during production, new product and specification change meetings; discussing availability and potential supply concerns
- Coordinate inventory counts with the warehouse, operations and plant controller
- Adhere to all safety protocols
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years’ experience in related inventory position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.
- Experience with chemicals is a plus
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SAP
