Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Lead Inventory Clerk in Pasadena, California. The role oversees daily inventory operations to ensure stock accuracy, timely replenishment, and efficient warehouse processes.

You will lead inventory activities, perform cycle counts, investigate variances, maintain ERP/WMS records, and collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, production, and customer service teams. Prior lead or supervisory experience and strong Excel skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Experience with ERP/WMS and inventory reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily inventory activities including receiving, stocking, cycle counts, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods.
• Perform and oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, production, and customer service teams.
• Train and coach inventory clerks and warehouse personnel.
• Generate inventory reports and analyze trends, usage, and stock levels.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and inventory control standards.

Position Summary
