Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking a Lead Special Procedure Tech to support Heart and Vascular procedures. You will work day shift (7:30am–4pm), perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, and ensure physicians have the equipment needed for imaging duties.

This role requires an Associate degree in Cardiovascular technology or equivalent, a JRCERT-accredited radiography program, and at least five years of IR tech experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) required.
• 5 years of relevant experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Regulatory registrations and certifications listed for IR work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care pre, intra, and post for Heart and Vascular procedures.
• Ensure physician has the required equipment to provide imaging duties.
• IV starts, patient prep, conscious sedation monitoring, hemodynamics, operate equipment.
• Document procedures and educate patients and families.
