Job summary

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital seeks a Senior Special Procedure Tech to support Heart and Vascular services. Under limited supervision, provide direct care pre, intra, and post for procedures, assist physicians, monitor hemodynamics, and educate patients and families.

On-site role with 7am–5:30pm hours, Mon–Fri, with on-call weekends. A sign-on bonus up to $3,500 is available to external hires and current student grads in a student role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Cardiovascular technology/basic science.
• Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
• 3 years of relevant experience as an Interventional Radiologist Technologist.
• Expert in all listed department skills and able to train others.
• Basic computer and math skills, excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care pre, intra, and post for Heart/vascular procedures.
• Assist physicians; perform IV starts and patient prep.
• Monitor hemodynamics and operate imaging equipment.
• Document procedures and manage vascular access; educate patients and families.
