Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to lead and expand the Intrathecal Pump Program across the Metro Atlanta market. The role offers clinical autonomy, strong organizational support, and a pathway to equity partnership tied to program success.

You will oversee evaluation, implantation, programming, and long-term care for patients requiring intrathecal drug delivery therapy, while shaping protocols and growth across the region.

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree and eligible for Georgia license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients for intrathecal therapy and determine candidacy.
• Perform intrathecal pump implantation, replacement, or revisions.
• Manage long-term pump programming and patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Participate in growth and development of the Pump Program across Metro Atlanta.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor regarding intrathecal therapies.
• Maintain quality, safety, and patient satisfaction standards.
