Job summary

Summit Spine and Joint Centers in Metro Atlanta seeks a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to lead and expand our Intrathecal Pump Program across the market. This role offers clinical autonomy, strong organizational support, and a pathway to equity partnership tied to program success.

Expect a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with established referral networks. The physician will oversee evaluation, implantation, management, and long-term follow-up

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management.
• Experience with intrathecal drug delivery systems and implants.
• Active Georgia medical license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and candidacy decisions for intrathecal therapy.
• Perform pump implantation, replacements, and related procedures.
• Manage long-term pump programming, refills, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to develop individualized plans.
• Help grow and shape the Pump Program across Metro Atlanta.
• Mentor team members and uphold quality and safety standards.
