Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Pain Medicine.
• Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management.
• Hands-on experience with intrathecal drug delivery systems.
• Active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• Interest in program development and long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide full clinical oversight of the intrathecal pump service line, including evaluation, implantation, management, and long-term follow-up.
• Lead and develop the pump program with strategy, protocols, and workflows.
• Collaborate with a team of physicians and APPs on patient candidacy and treatment planning.
• Mentor and guide clinical staff across intrathecal therapies.
• Drive program expansion and quality outcomes in the Metro Atlanta market.

A leading interventional pain management organization in Metro Atlanta is looking for a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Physician with deep expertise in intrathecal drug delivery systems to lead and grow a dedicated Intrathecal Pump Program.

What You'll Lead

• Full clinical oversight of the intrathecal pump service line, including evaluation, implantation, management, and long-term follow-up
• Patient candidacy evaluation and individualized treatment planning in collaboration with a seasoned team of physicians and APPs
• Pump implantation, replacement, revisions, programming, refills, and troubleshooting
• Strategic input on protocols, workflows, and program expansion across the Metro Atlanta market
• Mentorship and clinical resource role for intrathecal therapies across the broader practice
