Job summary

Vertical Mag in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain and overhaul aircraft and components in line with manufacturer manuals and regulatory requirements.

The role demands 2+ years of heavy maintenance experience, a valid Airframe license, strong reading of technical documents, and safe, efficient work with hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience in heavy aircraft maintenance or similar with airline/MRO exposure.
• Valid Airframe License required (Powerplant preferred) or equivalent repairman certification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, FARs, ADs, Service Bulletins and Maintenance Manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance work, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Instruct and mentor other technicians on proper methods and procedures.
• Read, interpret and apply written instructions, orders and directives.
