Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Interior Designer to join our team in Pleasant Grove, Utah. This position will lead the interior design of high-end custom residences from initial concept through construction and final installation. The ideal candidate has a refined design perspective, experience working across multiple architectural styles, and the ability to create cohesive, highly personalized interiors while confidently guiding clients and project teams through the design process.
Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from conceptual development through construction and installation
- Develop cohesive design concepts, material palettes, and finish selections
- Select cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, flooring, tile, hardware, furnishings, and decorative elements
- Create detailed interior elevations, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, and custom millwork designs
- Prepare and deliver polished client presentations
- Coordinate interior selections and details with architectural and structural documents
- Collaborate closely with clients, builders, architects, vendors, and consultants
- Manage project schedules, specifications, budgets, and procurement
- Conduct site visits and assist with resolving design-related construction questions
- Provide direction and mentorship to junior designers and support staff
- Maintain our standards for design quality, documentation, and client service
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–10 years of professional experience in high-end residential interior design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated, thoughtfully detailed residential interiors
- Experience managing luxury residential projects from concept through completion
- Strong knowledge of materials, furnishings, custom cabinetry, millwork, lighting, and residential construction
- Ability to design confidently across multiple architectural and interior styles
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and project-management skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD and interior-design presentation software is preferred
- Ability to lead projects independently while collaborating with lead designer.
- Degree in interior design or a related field is preferred
