Job Description

As an Interior Designer - Furniture Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping our clients' spaces to enhance aesthetics, comfort, and functionality. This position requires a deep understanding of interior design principles, with a strong emphasis on furniture selection, arrangement, and custom solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for residential or commercial spaces.
  • Design and implement interior environments that integrate furniture design concepts, ensuring a cohesive and functional layout.
  • Develop detailed plans and presentations, including mood boards, 3D models, and sketches to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Source, select, and specify furniture, finishes, fabrics, and materials, with experience and a good eye for color, paint and lighting.
  • Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to ensure the procurement and delivery of furniture pieces are on time and within budget.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable practices to advise clients on innovative solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining schedules and ensuring all aspects of the design process meet company standards.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations and offer solutions for interior space planning and furniture placement.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, builders, and lighting designers, to realize successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on furniture solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
