Job summary

HOK seeks a Project Manager for its Interior Design team in Dallas to lead projects from concept through completion, coordinating designers, consultants and clients to deliver on time and on budget. You will manage project teams, schedule, budgeting, and documentation across all phases using Deltek Vantagepoint and related tools, while maintaining strong client relationships and design intent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in interior design with 5+ years project management experience across all phases.
• RID or NCIDQ certification preferred; LEED credential within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine function and spatial requirements; plan layouts and costs.
• Prepare client and consultant agreements for Principal review.
• Execute design phases including budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and furniture specification.
• Manage client expectations regarding scope, budget, and schedule.
• Maintain positive client relationships with regular progress updates.
• Develop project schedules and assign team members; monitor progress.
• Provide leadership for construction documents and design intent.
• Ensure compliance with codes and project standards.
• Represent client in bids and contract awards; coordinate with contractors.
