Job summary

JRM Construction in Florida seeks a Superintendent to deliver high-end interior projects on time and on budget. You will supervise the field labor force, including subcontractors and craft workers, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction on every site.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling discipline, and effective communication across trades in occupied spaces. You will run weekly meetings, manage RFIs, and coordinate close-out activities to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as a Superintendent in interior, high-end commercial GC.
• Experience managing complex projects in occupied spaces.
• Ability to coordinate multiple quick-turnaround projects.
• Proficient reading of commercial construction plans and specs.
• 10-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate and 4-Hour Scaffold User Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, safety, quality, progress, and logistics.
• Direct supervision of site staff, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Maintain project schedule with weekly 2-week look-ahead.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet budget and schedule.
• Lead RFI process and track issues to close-out.
• Hold weekly project and subcontractor meetings.
• Ensure client expectations are met and maintain relations.
• Manage punch list and close-out processes.
