Job summary

OneApp is seeking a Lead Engineer for Integrations to define architecture for external system connections and data delivery. You will mentor a small team, write and review code, and guide AI-powered automation within the integration stack.

The role blends hands-on coding with technical leadership in a hybrid setup based in Portland, OR. You will shape API surfaces, data quality, and observability, collaborating with a specialist AI engineer to drive agentic AI initiatives and reliable production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience building and maintaining production integrations with third‑party APIs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3).
• Ability to lead technical work, review code, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration patterns connecting OneApp with third‑party systems.
• Own the full integration lifecycle: API access, data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Build and maintain the external‑facing Partner Data API with authentication and rate limiting.
• Ensure data quality and observability through logging, monitoring, and testing.
• Provide architectural direction for agentic AI integrations and automation workflows.
• Lead architecture discussions and set technical standards for the pod.
