Job summary

Race Winning Brands in Berea, OH seeks an experienced Automotive Intake System Project Engineer to lead development from concept to launch. You will direct cross-functional teams, optimize layouts, and coordinate prototype manufacturing and testing to meet design and performance goals.

The role requires strong CAD and CFD capabilities, hands-on manufacturing experience, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, and external customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience in automotive intake system development from concept to launch.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and advanced surface modeling for automotive intake system design.
• Strong project management skills with ability to meet timelines and budgets.
• Experience with CFD and multi-physics analysis tools such as COMSOL or CFD software.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience in a vehicle environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage automotive intake system development projects from concept to launch.
• Define timelines for new product development projects.
• Direct preparation of layouts using detailed drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate prototype manufacturing and R&D resource management.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive intake system development and liaise with customers as needed.
• Ensure delivery of projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Maintain documentation per engineering policies and update stakeholders.
• Support proposal development activities.
