OU Health is seeking an Insurance Verification Representative II to lead the Central Insurance Verification Clinic Team. The role confirms eligibility, registers patients, and updates demographics to support accurate billing and revenue cycle operations.

The position requires 3+ years in hospital Patient Access, advanced communication and leadership skills, and completion of HFMA credentials within 180 days of hire. A strong EMR proficiency is essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in hospital Patient Access.
• Experience with pre-registration and insurance verification.
• Knowledge of payor rules and eligibility verification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily insurance verification operations and assist staff with complex issues.
• Perform pre-registration and verify insurance for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Document benefit and authorization data in the EMR accurately.
• Coordinate with physicians and case managers to resolve authorization issues.
• Train new staff and provide ongoing guidance to team members.
