Job summary

The Atlantic District in Hermitage, PA seeks a Lead Insurance Agent to run a Farmers insurance agency, drive growth, manage operations, and deliver high‑touch client service. You will mentor staff, build strong community relationships, and shape the future of a community‑centered agency.

You will lead daily sales, review client portfolios, and ensure best protections for clients while expanding market reach with a focus on integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Three or more years of experience managing insurance accounts or leading sales initiatives.
• Strong command of standard office software and agency management systems.
• Deep understanding of the local Hermitage insurance landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor others and share industry expertise.
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and nurture a growing book of business by identifying unique needs for every client.
• Mentor junior team members to help them hone their skills and reach their professional goals.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with local businesses and community members in Hermitage.
• Review existing policy portfolios to ensure our clients are getting the best protection for their specific situations.
• Lead by example in daily sales operations, consistently meeting goals through honest, consultative conversations.
• Collaborate with our agency leadership to refine our outreach strategies and improve our overall service quality.
