Job summary

The Atlantic District in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a Lead Insurance Agent to run a Farmers agency, driving growth, operations, and client service for our community. You’ll bring energy, initiative, and a passion for helping neighbors protect what they value most.

Lead with sales excellence, mentor staff, manage renewals and new business, and strengthen carrier partnerships to deliver honest, long-term protection in a local, values-driven office.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Three or more years of experience in insurance sales or high-volume client services.
• Deep understanding of personal lines insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
• Proficiency in using agency management systems and digital document management.
• Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to commute to our Stroudsburg office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full sales lifecycle from prospecting new leads to closing policies that offer meaningful protection.
• Conduct thorough coverage reviews to ensure our clients have the right policies for their changing lives.
• Collaborate with the broader team to identify new market opportunities and refine our outreach strategy.
• Mentor junior staff members by sharing your expertise and helping them develop their own sales approach.
• Manage an active pipeline of renewals and new business opportunities with precision and care.
• Maintain strong relationships with our carrier partners to advocate for the best outcomes for our clients.
