Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Lead Home Performance Technician to join our team in Durham. You will lead home performance projects such as attic insulation, air sealing, crawlspace improvements, and other energy-efficiency upgrades, while delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of directing a crew, coordinating with customers, and maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with home performance services such as attic insulation, air sealing, crawlspace work or similar upgrades.
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces and other confined areas
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to operate a company truck and pull a work trailer

Responsibilities

• Lead home performance projects (attic insulation, air sealing, crawlspace work) and other energy-efficiency upgrades.
• Direct and supervise a crew to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety standards and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of leading a crew while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Clean driving record is a must. No major violations within past 5 years.

• Experience with blown-in insulation, air sealing, crawlspace work or home performance services
• Previous leadership or crew lead experience preferred

• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces and other confined areas
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to operate a company truck while pulling and maneuvering a work trailer
