Job summary

Synergy3 in Edison, NJ is hiring an Air Sealing & Insulation Technician to perform hands-on weatherization in homes across our service area. You will seal tight, insulate clean, and verify results with a blower door test, standing behind every completed job.

Responsible for owning your work to code and company standards, you’ll document with photos and readings, assist in mentoring newer technicians, and coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in air sealing, insulation, weatherization, or building performance.
• Proficiency with blower door testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of air sealing, blow-in/dense-pack insulation methods, and home energy principles.
• Takes pride in their craft and stands behind the quality of their own work.
• Valid NJ driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable with digital documentation (photos, readings, logs).

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on air sealing and insulation work in homes across the service area.
• Run blower door tests and diagnostics to verify results before and after work.
• Participate in daily on-site activities, ensuring work progresses per schedule and plan.
• Own the quality of installed work and document with photos, readings, and sign-offs.
• Act as crew leader when required, training new technicians and coordinating with teams.
