Job summary

Nexus Engineering Group seeks a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to lead instrument design for EPC projects, develop P&IDs and instrument datasheets, and support control system architecture. You will interact with clients, visit facilities, and perform field work including wiring, calibration, and commissioning support.

The role requires hands-on design, strong communication, and experience with ISA/PSM standards, DCS/PLC/SIS systems, and vendor coordination to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Strong technical calculations, reports, and interfaces with clients.
• Experience leading engineering schedules, budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed instrumentation design for EPC projects.
• Develop instrument datasheets and sizing calculations.
• Prepare control narratives, IO lists, and instrument indices.
• Review vendor drawings and support FAT/SAT and commissioning.
• Interface with clients and provide field support during construction.
