Job summary

Chevron is seeking a Lead Instrumentation, Electrical & Power Technician in Pasadena, TX. The role covers operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of electrical equipment including power generation and distribution.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to perform maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and analyzer systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and work orders.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and shop tasks on electrical, instrument and analyzer maintenance, including cable tray, conduit and wiring.
• Install, troubleshoot, and support electrical and instrumentation systems (4-20 mA loops, smart transmitters, thermocouples, PLCs, instrumentation systems).
• Plan and execute daily work assignments while following safe work practices.
• Collaborate with Reliability, Operations and Engineering on daily tasks.
• Work 4x10 dayshift schedule; may require overtime and after-hours call-outs.
