Job summary

Chevron seeks a Lead Instrumentation, Electrical & Power Technician to operate, maintain, repair, and replace electrical equipment including power generation and distribution, working under Chevron policies and processes. The role is based in Pasadena, TX and requires climbing up to 200 feet and successful confined space testing.

Responsibilities include installing and supporting 4-20 mA loops, smart transmitters, PLCs, and related instrumentation systems.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC.
  • 2 years’ work experience (military service is considered work experience) or completed an accredited trade/vocational program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field and shop work on electrical, instrument and analyzer maintenance, project and construction assignments.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and support electrical, instrument and analyzer equipment and systems.
  • Organize, plan, and execute daily work assignments.
  • Follow safe work practices and demonstrate safe work behaviors.
  • Work with Reliability, Operations, and Engineering daily.
  • Typically work a 4x10 dayshift schedule; shifts can vary and overtime may be required.
