Job summary

Twin Rivers Technologies is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician in Quincy, MA to assist, direct or train workers in installing, maintaining, or repairing process instrumentation and related fixtures. You will lead instrumentation projects across the plant, ensuring 24-7 operations and compliance with electrical codes.

You will troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues, update logic diagrams and calibration records, and collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Boiler Room

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED
• Previous instrument & controls experience
• 3-5 years related work experience

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Inspect and test components of instrumentation systems including control valves, RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, differential pressure, switches, transmitters
• Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• Estimate materials for repairs and installations
• Interface with vendors to order replacement parts and instruments
• Troubleshoot, repair, and PM a wide variety of control valves
• Troubleshoot and repair Allen-Bradley & Honeywell PLC system problems
• Upload a project to a PLC
• Support plant operations and shutdown activities
