Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a seasoned CSU I&C Lead for LNG projects, initially in Houston, TX with relocation to the Port Arthur site as needed. You will lead commissioning testing and startup activities for Instrument and Control systems, coordinating with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations.

The role requires 8–14 years of commissioning experience in cryogenic LNG and related facilities, strong testing expertise, and adherence to NFPA/IEC/ISA standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Eight (8) plus years of commissioning experience in cryogenic units such as LNG, Ethylene Units, Petrochemical, and Gas Processing Facilities.
• In lieu of formal education 15+ years of experience in cryogenic units such as LNG, Ethylene Units, Petrochemical, and Gas Processing Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Defining the Instrumentation Testing Execution Plan and sequence required to progressively complete the Instrumentation testing scope.
• Submit, to the Project Start-up Manager, daily and weekly progress reports related to work progress in assigned area, number of personnel in office, and Safety incidents.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and provide commissioning input, provide solutions, and eliminate barriers that prevent the completion of work.
• Provide to and review the Instrumentation Sections of the O&M Manuals. Oversee the development of instrumentation test procedures.
