Job summary

codeCampus in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Lead Instructor for the upcoming school year starting August 2026. You will collaborate with site staff to lead STEAM lessons in classrooms using our proprietary curriculum for students in grades K-8.

The role favors educators with experience in music production/theory and proficiency in DAWs such as GarageBand, Logic, or Pro Tools. Training is paid and opportunities for raises exist based on performance.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid) and to start instructing immediately.
• Available to work from August 2026 and beyond.
• Available Monday to Friday from 1pm - 3:45pm.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.
• A background in performing, composing, or mentoring youth in musical environments.

About the role

As a Lead Instructor, you will:

• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area


• Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum


• Teach students in grades K-8th


• Demonstrated experience in music production, audio engineering, or music theory, with proficiency in standard Digital Audio Workstations including GarageBand, Logic, Pro Tools, or comparable
