Job summary

codeCampus is seeking to hire a Lead Instructor to work in the Palm Springs area for the 2026-27 school year. You will lead STEAM lessons for students in classrooms using our proprietary curriculum and collaborate with site staff at partner schools in the area.

The role is paid training with a schedule including 12.5 hours per week, starting immediately, and offers opportunities for growth based on performance. Must be able to cover multiple schools in Palm Springs Unified School District.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid).
• Availability: 12.5 paid hours per week with schedule Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 2:30pm-4:00pm; Wed 12:00pm-1:30pm.
• Must be willing to cover multiple schools within Palm Springs Unified School District.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

About you

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• Available to start training immediately (paid), and to start instructing immediately
• Availability - 7.5 instructional hours + 5 hours of prep time = 12.5 hours paid per week
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 2:30pm - 4:00pm
  • Wednesday - 12:00pm - 1:30pm
• Must be willing to cover multiple different schools within the Palm Springs Unified School District
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Willing to go through our professional development training program

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$28/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
