Montgomery Housing Partnership seeks a part-time Pre/After-School Lead Instructor for the Community Life Program in Silver Spring, MD. You will work under supervision to ensure quality of educational services at MHP housing sites, Monday-Thursday 3:45 pm to 6:00 pm.

Starting rate is $22–$30 per hour. The role requires a Bachelor’s in elementary education or related field, 3 years of elementary classroom experience, and strong communication and collaboration with diverse communities.

MHP’s community-based projects and programs include providing affordable rents, developing educational programs for residents to develop skills that expand their opportunities and balance their lives, and implementing neighborhood revitalization efforts in troubled communities impacted by foreclosures and economic downturns.**Summary Job Description: The** Pre/After-School Instructor will work under the supervision of the Community Life Programs Coordinator (Site Coordinator) and the Community Life Programs Supervisor (Site Supervisor) to ensure the success and quality of the educational and human services programs offered at selected MHP’s affordable housing units located in Montgomery County. **This part-time position is Monday-Thursday (3:45 pm to 6:00 pm.
