Job summary

SEL University in the United States is hiring a Lead Instructional Designer to shape advanced training programs for SEL’s products. The role centers on turning complex concepts into engaging learning experiences and coordinating with SMEs, video producers, and instructors.

You will audit content, storyboard multi-day trainings, and craft interactive eLearning with Articulate tools, while leveraging AI and microlearning to enhance outcomes.

Qualifications

• A degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing sophisticated, effective learning content in a variety of delivery formats.
• More than 7 years of experience developing technical training for diverse audiences and instructors.
• A passion for learning complex topics and turning them into engaging experiences based on adult learning theories.
• A desire to be part of project teams that include creative collaborators as well as technical partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay on track while meeting tight deadlines.
• Mastery of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate tools; bonus if you know Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Auditing training content and proposing a strategic learning path for students.
• Outlining and storyboarding a multi-day instructor-led training with SMEs.
• Creating interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Collaborating with video producers to create animations.
• Reviewing learner feedback and evaluation data to identify improvements.
• Partnering with managers to tailor training solutions for customer needs.
• Exploring and sharing practical ways to integrate AI and emerging learning technologies.
