Sutter Home & Hearth is seeking a Lead Installation Technician / Crew Lead to join our Seattle-area team. This hands-on role guides a small crew in installing fireplaces, stoves, venting, and related products in new construction, remodels, and occupied homes.

You’ll plan daily work, read plans, ensure safety, and communicate with homeowners and trades to deliver high-quality results. 5+ years in skilled trades and leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on skilled-trade, mechanical installation, or residential construction experience.
• Experience leading or training at least one other crew member.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and finish quality.
• A safety-first mindset for work on ladders, roofs, and with gas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small installation crew while working hands-on.
• Install, uninstall, and service fireplaces, stoves, venting, fire pits, and related products.
• Plan and sequence daily work ensuring safety and quality.
• Read and follow plans, specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Communicate with homeowners, builders, inspectors, and team throughout projects.
• Produce finished work with high finish quality and proper fit.
