Pay Rate: $21.00-32.00/hour*

Summary

The Commercial Installation Lead provides customer equipment installation of HVACR and/or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, freezers).

Responsibilities include:

  1. Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
  2. Install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  3. Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and duct fittings as required.
  4. Communicate professionally with customers and team regarding repairs and updates.
  5. Coordinate part orders with the branch.
  6. Document tasks (parts/work orders, timesheets) accurately and promptly.
  7. Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per policies.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least three years of installation experience with commercial kitchen and/or HVACR equipment (e.g., RTUs, chillers).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screening required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Plumbing knowledge is a plus.
  • HVAC certification or contractor/journeyman status is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Working/Environmental Conditions:

  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent travel to work sites.
  • Exposure to high/low temperatures, electrical hazards, steam, and heat.
  • Physical activities include bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders.
