Qualifications

Summary

The Commercial Installation Lead is responsible for customer equipment installation of HVACR and/or commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, grills, ovens, freezers).
  • Mentor, lead, and motivate team members in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
  • Install commercial HVACR and kitchen equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Design, fabricate, and install various ducts and fittings as required.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team regarding repairs and updates.
  • Coordinate part orders with the branch.
  • Document tasks accurately and promptly (parts, work orders, timesheets).
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms per policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
  • At least three years of installation experience with commercial kitchen and/or HVACR equipment (e.g., RTUs, chillers).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screen required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to lead or work within a team.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues (plumbing background a plus).
  • HVAC certification, journeyman, or contractor license a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Working / Environmental Conditions:
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Travel extensively to work sites.
  • Work in high/low temperature environments (kitchens, rooftops, outdoors).
  • Repeated bending, twisting, kneeling, and ladder climbing.
  • Exposure to electrical, steam, and heat hazards requiring safety precautions.
