Job Summary:We are currently looking for askilledLead Mobile Vehicle Technicianto join our team. Do you have technical skills and a natural talent for leadership? If so, you might be the perfect fit! As a Communications NorthwestLead Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mobile communication equipment, helping to ensure our customers stay connected wherever they are.
Your Role with Us:
· Install vehicle electronics including public safety emergency equipment, safety lighting, mobile 2-way radios, antennas, and accessories, ensuring installations meet the highest safety standards.
· Complete work orders with accurate labor and hardware charges.
· Diagnose and resolve equipment and antenna issues.
· Utilize testing equipment to ensure systems are operational, including performing radio programming and software updates.
· Train and oversee team members, monitor project progress, and provide regular updates and reports to the director.
· Train and monitor the performance of Radio Mobile Vehicle Technicians Installations and report any findings to the project manager.
· Maintain work cases and ensure timely submission of maintenance updates and expense requests.
· Connect with businesses, identify potential hazards, and provide solutions.
·Travel:Occasionally, you will get to travel to complete offsite projects and attend training sessions offered by our vendors to continue expanding your knowledge.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED; or three years or more related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Radio Frequency Knowledge or related experience.
· Strong reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
· Ability to interpret technical instructions and deal with various abstract and concrete variables.
· Must have a valid Driver's License.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
· Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 40 pounds, and rarely move up to 100 pounds.
· Frequent use of hands; standing, sitting, reaching, walking, climbing, and stooping.
· Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, mechanical parts, high places, outdoor weather conditions, low-voltage electricity, and moderate noise levels.

· Competitive salary based on experience: $27.00 to $34.00 hourly.
· Bi-weekly Pay Schedule
