Job Overview:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of multiple Air Separation and Liquefaction plants. This role involves both office and field work, including access to elevated equipment. Holiday, after-hours, and on-call work are required. Strong communication, self-motivation, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety, quality, environmental, operational, and ethical policies.
  • Lead, train, and guide safety, operation, and quality activities; train junior technicians and assign tasks.
  • Start up, shut down, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission gas and cryogenic systems.
  • Manage plant operations to meet customer demand.
  • Maintain and interpret P&IDs, SOPs, wiring diagrams, complying with safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot instruments and analyzers, including PLC systems and automatic valves.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting (<600V).
  • Plan and execute lock-out/tag-out procedures and oversee contractors.
  • Understand process interactions and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain security, orderliness, and compliance with lone worker policies.
  • Use CMMS for maintenance planning and documentation.
  • Monitor equipment and process data, ensuring proper maintenance execution.
  • Coordinate maintenance, procurement, and manage equipment failures and process issues.
  • Maintain spares inventory and communicate with management.
  • Complete training and administrative tasks, including documentation and reports.
  • Operate equipment like forklifts and man-lifts safely.
  • Maintain safety programs like One Call for pipeline safety.
  • Support productivity projects and perform administrative duties.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of control, instrumentation, and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills for transmitters and control loops.
  • Associate degree or equivalent apprenticeship/certificate in a technical field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in gas production, controls, or related engineering work.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, operating forklifts/cranes, and software like Microsoft Office, Wonderware, Rockwell.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings like P&IDs and electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of ultra-high purity systems.
