Job summary

Saft Energy Storage Systems is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to lead site commissioning activities for large-scale energy storage projects in the Americas. You will coordinate field execution, support field teams, and ensure safe startup of battery systems.

You will manage and mentor Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors, develop commissioning plans, and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards across projects, delivering on schedule and to contract.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with supporting experience demonstrating electrical controls engineering competencies
Minimum 7-10 years of engineering experience
Experience leading installation and commissioning of industrial projects in the power generation/energy field

Responsibilities

Lead installation and commissioning of industrial projects in the power generation/energy field
Lead technical teams
Coordinate field execution and supervise Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors
Develop commissioning plans for new BESS projects in the Americas region
Develop ESS I&C standard documentation (processes, procedures, scope of work)
