Description

We are seeking a lead-level technician for large commercial installation projects across the Denver metro area. The ideal candidate must currently work with access control and CCTV systems, capable of programming and troubleshooting independently. This role offers an opportunity to advance into a supervisory position within a team. The position requires travel in your own vehicle to job sites for the first 12 months. The role is initially set as a 12-month contract-to-hire, with potential conversion after 6 months based on performance.

Responsibilities
  • Install, program, test, repair, and service various non-routine security systems, including fire alarms and life safety equipment.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Complete detailed service reports for billing and tracking.
  • Work under pressure with a strong customer focus.
  • Possess solid technical skills in fire alarm and electronic security systems, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Read blueprints and drawings; perform basic electrical and mechanical tasks.
  • Maintain organized documentation and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience with fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.
  • Strong programming and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools; read blueprints and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel locally; minimal overnight travel possible.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, and PTO.
