Job summary

Connections Personnel in Springfield, NJ is seeking Inspectors for direct hire to perform complex inspections of parts and assemblies, using precision gauges and CMM equipment. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to interpret blueprints, and coordination with production teams.

Under limited supervision, you will document results, resolve inspection problems, and potentially lead other inspectors. US persons criteria apply and pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• Requires use of blueprints, sketches, written or verbal specifications.
• Basic shop math including trigonometry and geometry.
• Understanding of electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of complex parts and assemblies using blueprints and specifications.
• Document inspection results and decisions.
• Set up and use gauges and instruments, calibrate equipment as directed.
• Lead and assist other inspectors when needed.
• Interact with Engineering, Assembly/Test and Operations to resolve quality issues.
