Job summary

HF Sinclair in Artesia, NM, seeks an experienced Inspection Lead to oversee advanced inspection duties within the Inspection Department, operating under minimal supervision. You will direct work, coordinate with other departments, and ensure mechanical integrity of refinery equipment.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in inspection or maintenance, a Bachelor's degree, and certifications such as API-510/570/653 or ASNT/SNT-TC-1A.

Qualifications

• Experience with API standards (510/570/653) and ASNT/SNT-TC-1A Level II certifications may be required
• Minimum 10 years on-the-job experience in inspection or maintenance
• Strong leadership and ability to guide inspectors and technicians

Responsibilities

• Inspects mechanical integrity of refinery equipment (pressure vessels, piping, boiler, tanks)
• Maintains regulatory records and may certify equipment integrity
• Develops inspection plans and reviews procedures
• Assists in budgeting and may stand in for Inspection Manager
• Oversees verification of NDE services and contractor work
