Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Artesia, NM seeks a senior Inspection professional to lead the inspection department, ensuring mechanical integrity of refinery equipment and compliance with regulations. The role involves directing inspectors, coordinating turnarounds, and budgeting participation.

A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and welding, plus a Bachelor's degree, API 510/570/653 and NDE certifications, are preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years on-the-job experience in inspection or maintenance.
• Experience with design, construction, repairs, inspection, or operations of pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and a working familiarity with welding processes.
• Preferred experience in a Supervisory role.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees inspection duties and direct/lead work of others within the department.
• Develops inspection plans and reviews departmental procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and certifies equipment integrity.
• Coordinates turnaround support activities and work with contractors.
• Provides guidance to less experienced Inspectors and approves work of NDE services.
