Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in aerospace environment.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• FAA Certified Repairman or Airframe and Power Plant preferred.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments (micrometers, verniers, dial gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical docs.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming beneficial.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of FAA, CAAC and EASA regulations.
• Strong communication and ability to teach/train.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain that inspections are properly performed on all completed work.
• Verify inspection records and forms before releasing to service.
• Proactively suggest quality process improvements and best practices.
• Participate in professional forums on issues.
• Recommend workflow improvements and cost reductions in quality.
• Maintain a safe, high-paced manufacturing environment.
• Communicate instructions and concepts clearly to all staff.
• Assist inspection department personnel as needed.
• Support training program development for inspectors.
• Ensure continuity of inspection duties during shift changes.
