Job summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced Inspection Supervisor to lead the inspection operations supporting our Kalrez manufacturing business at the Tralee Park facility in Newark, Delaware. You will guide inspectors to meet stringent quality standards while partnering with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes and delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with quality systems; SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, manufacturing, quality, or related field.
10+ years of manufacturing inspection/quality/operations experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience leading teams in manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of inspectors in a manufacturing setting.
Ensure products meet established quality requirements and customer specifications.
Monitor daily inspection activities, staffing, workflow, and performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Support production schedules by prioritizing inspection activities to meet demand.
Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve product and process concerns.
Train and develop employees while fostering accountability and teamwork.
