Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking an accomplished Inpatient Rehab Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to lead patient-centered care on the unit during designated shifts. The CNC collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, directs nursing care, and models the organization’s values to drive excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The role requires an RN with an associate or bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in rehab or med/surg nursing, plus BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse (RN) with an active license.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum of 2 years in Rehab or Med/Surg nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions and discharges to ensure efficient patient throughput.
• Collaborate with management to monitor quality of patient care and outcomes.
• Lead staff scheduling and training; participate in interviewing and performance evaluations.
• Support nursing strategies, rounds, and service initiatives to improve engagement.
• Assist with inventory control and equipment management.
