Sika is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to oversee a 12-hour injection molding shift in Grandview, MO. You will lead on safety, quality, delivery, and cost with hands-on shop floor presence.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work with materials, Quality, and SAP processes. Competitive benefits are provided, with emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school education required; some college coursework preferred.
• Detail oriented, problem solver with independence.
• Minimum three years supervisory experience, or equivalent.
• Dependable and highly organized.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 12-hour injection molding shift to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Maintain presence on the shop floor at least 90% of the time.
• Enforce plant safety rules and union policies.
• Coordinate with materials and Quality to meet delivery and quality requirements.
• Follow startup/shutdown procedures, first/last piece inspection, hourly quality checks, and 5S.
• Manage production schedule adherence and run-rate; train and motivate staff.
• Support digital processes and testing of new projects; create incident tickets as needed.
• Document training materials and process documentation; collaborate regionally/globally.
